The Taste of the Food
Scientists use taste to refer just those sensations that come from what is detected by taste receptors on the tongue. Taste receptors are inside our taste buds, those bumpy, little hills on our tongues. And scientists have matched those receptors to the taste that we know. The tastes that everybody agrees about are sweetness and so this is a sugar cube, sour. Think about a lemon, saltiness, salt a bitterness, which is like if you drink some of your parents coffee thate, it is bitterness.
