Should Inequalities Exist Within a Just Society?

John Rawls says inequalities do exist within societies, and their existence is inevitable. He asks: What type of inequality is just? And what criteria do we use to determine that? Ralls calls for a more nuance definition of what exactly justifies this inequality. To ralls, liberal democracy is the best system and can work. But for it to work, we need an exhaustive answer to this question.
