Is There a Good God?
Most philosophers and all theologians have always recognized that evil is dark. It indicates that humans actually have a capacity to recognize goodness. The powers of death are corrupting and distorting the good things in god's creation. We stumble when it comes to saying what's actually going on here. Human beings and behave in irrational ways, i don't think one can say much further.
