If you're a local community group in southwestern missouri, the chance of your having a washington lobbyist is much smaller. We've often won one for for people with low budgets in legislative fights that would think would be unlikely to be successful. People really don't appreciate the job of a lobyist is a little bit like job of a lawyer,. That it's often a job populated by lawyers and people ofh law degrees. The part that can skip over though is how do you get in front of those people? How do you get their time? Because these are busy people, right?
