Drama and its diagnosis, post dramatic stress disorder, were first ascribed to world war two shell shocked veterans. Whitley streber recalled suffering several sexual assaults by one of his alien captors. We do not know what is happening to these people, but whatever it is, it causes them to react as if they've suffered a great personal drama. And society turns away, led by vociferous professional debunkers whose secret fears apparently close their minds.
