The S&P 500 and the Four Fund Strategy
The S&P 500 compounded at 5.8 from 1970 to 79, but the ultimate buy and hold strategy compounded at 13.3. From 80 to 89, the S&P compounds at 17.5 versus the other two at about 22.2. The four fund strategy looks ever so much like the 10 Fund equity model.
On July 22, 2023 Chris Pedersen addressed the Orange County Chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors. At the end of his 2 hour presentation there were many unanswered questions. Our last podcast and video addressed 16 of those questions.
