The Labour Party and the Australian Working Class in the 1970s
I think the unions really desired a seat at the table. They felt that in the Fraser Liberal and by an Australia when we say Liberal and the Conservative government, this had been a period where the union had no access to or influence. This changes how workers power in built and held on to an experience across the workforce. We have to think more deeply about how does this fundamentally reshape the nature of the Australian working class in that period.
