And my experience is that being excommunicated took so much of the pressure out of my relation ship with my church leaders and with my ward. Yosay: i've had conversations with people who were sort of in that place where they were contemplating, like, what's going to happen when i lose all these privileges. Gwen: It allows me to focus on the substantive things of the gospel, rather than focusing on some of those things.
