Lament is the language of protest. It's a way to express anger and anguish, that i think can lead to healing. I would say hope is kind of, we get to a deeper, more authentic, more robust hope on the other side of lament. And so absolutely, i don't think you can speak those words or express that levelof sorrow without a central hope and in god's presence.
