The History of Glyphosate
Monsanto patented glyphosate in the early 70s and they made a formulation called Roundup. In 1974 was the first commercial use of Roundup. Because it's an herbicide, it needed to be registered through the EPA. And there were some registration studies that Monsanto conducted through an outsourced to a lab called IBT Labs. That subsequently was found to be a fraudulent lab. This affected other companies that utilized that lab as well.
