Do I Need L2-Aok?
ECC RAM is a nice thing to have, whether you're using ZFS or not. Do I need L2-Aok? Probably not. It's really only meant for the case where you can't have more RAM. Four gigabytes is all I need in my current NAS and that's running a couple of pools.
