The Grand Jury's Second Meeting on Wednesday
Prosecutors told the grand jury to go home today or not come in. That never made quite a lot of sense given what we know about the grand jury schedule. No one knows exactly why, although Robert Costello, the witness put forward by Donald Trump's attorneys on Monday before the grand jury has a theory. He thinks his testimony was so compelling and so effective at undermining Michael Cohen's credibility that the grand jury had to take a break.
