The Role of Data in Recruitment
Brighton's model is based around buying players in and then loaning them out until they get to the level which they can play for Brighton. So there are ways of using data in recruitment that I think work quite well. But again, it depends on the level of the team they're at. And it will be interesting to see if Brighton lose a little bit of edge in the markets because of that. They aren't going to be able to buy those players in cheap, farm them out of different leagues until they're at a level where they can play.
