Freedom is a beautiful and terrible thing, needful to man, as air usable as earth. And yet it isn't fully ours. For black people in 19 66, it was wanted desperately. It was past time. A hundred years after the civil war, and it was still not there freedom for every person in every state. Gaudy mumbo jumbo, empty s lip service, no action, no substance behind it. We know what we want. We want freedom in america.
