Is Mariwana Legalization a Boon to Local Economy?

There's some recent work suggesting that recreational maraana legalization can lead to increases in crime. A lot of talk has been made that perhaps marawana is going to be a boon to local economies. I think t is still out on that. If you legalize mariana, presumably a lot of people who might otherwise be using and abusing opioids, especially or for pain relief, might instead use mariwana.
