The Power of Letters

The letters in the New Testament are sometimes called epistles, which is sort of an older word. I think it's probably best to just call them letters. There was a dominant paradigm for interpreting Paul and especially the main letters. The Romans and Galatians, the Corinthian letters and Philippians have been shaken loose.
