Hires Are Scarier Than They Are Exciting

Hires are scarier than they are exciting, because we have done well in the role that we are hiring for. Most human beings aren't going to put the effort into it that you did. There is an element of hiring that just makes your job more complicated. If you want a scale, if you want to grow, you have to be able to do this. It doesn't benefit you to sit around and talk about like oh, i don't want to grow because of all these reasons. But one thing you can do is actually give out quarterly bonuses, which i've done in my company now, based on total growth.
