The only one that is that you can diagnose with a blood test is Vexas, which is completely different. So I think that again is super important to do their review of systems. And then sometimes patients are not going to tell you that they have ear pain that wakes them up at night or something like that. The only one that is that you can diagnose with a blood test is Vexas, which is completely different. Yeah.
Speaker 2
Well, that makes it very hard for all of us, Marcela. I wish you know, you came up with something easier. What about those patients with type three that you mentioned, you know, sometimes get diagnosed with fibromyalgia? What is it that, you know, because you mentioned with the muscle pain and the joint pain and the fatigue, I definitely see tons of those patients. So how should we sort out the ones that truly have fibromyalgia from the ones that, you know, may have something else like RP? Yes.
Speaker 1
So I think that again is super important to do their review of systems. And then sometimes patients are not going to tell you that they have ear pain that wakes them up at night, for example, or they're going to work ahead. And then the ear hurts. And also the characteristics of the joint involvement, right? So like you just need to do a very good history. Like the pain, like the typical pain that is inflammatory, right? That it wakes you up. And then you wake up with stiffness. And then unfortunately for the diagnosis, sometimes you won't be able to catch the sinewitis. And then most of these patients will come to you with pictures because many of these patients have been ignored for a long time. And it takes a long time for them to have a diagnosis. But this Particular Syndrome is also very important because in this group is where you're going to also find patients that have magic syndrome. So asking about oral ulcers and genital ulcers. And the concern about magic syndrome is that these patients can have vasculitis.
