Is There a New Phase of Globalization?
In the last 10 years, we have started to see a new phase of globalization. This one, I think, will continue to be regional. Part of it is things like ESG, part of it is the responses to climate change. So I do think what we're going to find in energy as well as a whole host of industries is that unless you're willing to subsidize industries indefinitely, the benefits of internationalization won't go away.
This week the ESG Insider podcast is on the ground in Houston, Texas for a special episode covering key themes from one of the world’s largest energy conferences — the annual CERAWeek event hosted by S&P Global.
