Sourdough Is Invented by Hipsters
Sourdough is invented by hipsters, annoying hipsters. They've kind of reinvented it, we'll say, or resurrected it. It's actually quite a good point because the whole point about sourdough is you don't add yeast. It's just natural bacteria from the air that gets in. So presumably the first bread must have been hipster sourdough. And so back in the fertile crescent 10,000 years ago, things like breads and porridges were being made.
