The experiment is testing whether there's more cooperation among people who are patrilocal versus matrilineal. What did we find so far in the Salomon island on a sample of over 800 and over 820 adults? The more women acknowledge help in raising children, not from the family, but from neighbor and friend, the more they are generous to stranger. So this summer we replicated it in India among matrilocal and patrilocal with the idea that who is going to cooperate more with the stranger?"
