The Beauty of Liquidity
In Schiller, beauty is about the experience of an object as beautiful. We are talking about creative activity, but we're also talking about the judgment of beauty. I think he sees it everywhere, right? He even sees it in the swarming of insects. There's a freedom there on the lion roars. And I can assume he would, you know, if he thought about cubs playing, that's the play drive. It's not just meeting an immediate need. Well, it's a proto aesthetic. Okay. When people have that impulse to adorn themselves and make practical objects beautiful, that's either aesthetic or proto - whatever you want to call it. In previous episode
