I was incredibly young when I was working with Jane Campion. And I think just enormously trusting of her. There's actually a documentary film about the making of Portrait of a Lady in which we see you between takes sobbing. Is it sometimes really hard to step out of character when you finish shooting at the end of the day? Yeah, it is sometimes. But as an actor you can't be a control freak. You have to be willing to give up control. So that says something about me as a person. I don't mind at all being still a bit blurry. I'll always be learning.
