Is Propophal Inducing the Oxidation of Free Fatty Acids in the Mitochondria?

Free fatty acids mobilize from fat tissue and then get oxidized by mitochondria. And this oxidation generates a t p via the electron transport chain. So perhaps we have these poisoned mitochondria and they're not getting we see elevated free fatty acids. That's exactly right. It seems to me that propophal inhibits the ability of mitochondria to utilize free fatty acids as oxidatod fuel.
