Is There a Legacy of Entrepreneurship in India?
There was no check on whether they're actually manufacturing manufacturing the generator. You had to buy that 15x more expensive thing because it was, well, domestic, right? For example, a manufacturer who wanted to produce iron boxes, you need very thin sheets of iron, which were not manufactured in India. So, he would get an import license from that and be forced to use domestic iron. If you were selling domestically, but if you were exporting, you could import. And I would like to believe that we are seeing a lot of those legacy issues now. It goes back to our early years. There is a part dependence. Because at that stage, so who could be a businessman?
