The Miracle of China's Elimination of Absolute Poverty

In 2020 essentially China lifted all of its people out of poverty as defined by the Chinese 2010 poverty line, which was an income in 2010 of 2,300 yuan per year. By the end of that period, everyone had been lifted above it. All the poverty counties and all the poverty villages had also been lifted out of poverty. And I'll say something in a moment about how China, you know, achieved that astonishing result.
