The Importance of Local Jobs in China

In China, a lot of most of these projects across the country, they're not done with the dollar signed in their mind. Their goal is to help people to raise people's living standards and also, you know, to protect the environment. And when you're mentioning a few hundred local jobs, that's actually for a few hundred families. So their kids can keep going to school. This is how people here think about the government.
