The universities argue that the petitioners, this particular group, SFFA, wasn't a genuine membership organization. Instead, it was a litigation vehicle invented by Edward Glung to challenge affirmative action. So there's at least a good argument here, that a strong one, the petitioners don't even have standing in this case.
