Sally Kohn: I think the thing that really stuck, stuck out to me from a simon sarris's post, was this idea that, like, making a meaningful contribution to the world is assumed to be an adult activity. It's like he, as a kid like you'r waiting around to become an adult, at which point then maybe you can make a meaningful ion to the world. And pretty much everything is implying the opposite, actually. She says she often gets emales from kids who say they're 13 or 14 and want to help her with something - but dismisses them because they are too young.
