Is There a Fermi Paradox?
I tend to believe, and you read different theories of how we went, how Homo sapiens evolved. The positive scenario is life itself is really difficult. That origin of life is difficult. We might be able to prove that wrong easily in the near term by finding life elsewhere. If consciousness is also ubiquitous, then I don't understand why they haven't been here or why there hasn't been so particular because presumably they should be much further ahead than us.
