Exentual consistency came out of this concept of, now i've got my whole application designed as if it were on the web. Gogle is pioneering this with the cloud, native commodity data centers and all this kind of stuff. It's sucha a continuum, and it's a trade off discussion. Everything has to be interlocked down and changed. We need new tools, new programming languages, to help that re engineering.
