The Impact of the Dart Spacecraft on Sept 20
The dart spacecraft launch last november, and sensen's been slowly but surely heading toward its target, astroid. About a week out from the collision, dart released this minny satellite inside of it, which will follow it to go take some pictures afterwards. And then four hours before the impact, it turns on its smart aconomist driving mode. That's when it reaches this final speed of about six kilometers per second.
