We've Met So Many Wonderful People in the Donbass
When we first went to the Donbass we didn't know how we would be received. One of our neighbours, he was originally Russian, his wife is currently in Moscow. He could not have been more welcoming to us. The bonds we have made here are unbelievable. There's a woman who I particularly think of who she was actually in half of a blast under occupation. She had 50 dogs, 20 cats, 3 horses and under occupation there was no running water so she did not have fresh food for two months. Her shelter was hit by a missile as she cycled into occupied territory to take food to her daughter. A man drove two women from a very dangerous village back into Herson
