The Kingdom of God Is at Hand
Healing was and still is the primary marker of the kingdom of God breaking in on earth as it is in heaven. Jesus didn't teach in a way that was like let's master this idea, he said come and experience it for himself. The church looks more like 18th century rationalistic scientific reason and enlightenment than scriptural.
