Hundreds of people from the middle east are trying to make their way into lapvian, lithuania and into poland. President alexander lukashenko is lashing out after elections in balarus were widely believed to have been falsified. He has exploited one of the weak ses of the european union: that it does not know how to handle migration from war zones. The polish authorities are really trying to handle this by themselves. They haven't tried to ask for help from border agency, front tex,. where as lith Lithuania did.
Belarus is promising migrants passage to Europe knowing the EU will turn them away.
