The Harp Prodigy
"I stepped into the family room and stopped there in the corner across from the couch, stood a giant golden harp," he says. "It must have been six feet tall this thing, a great golden column attached to a sliding arch fixed with these gossamer strings that caught the light all fancy ... Maybe the only real life harp I have ever seen." The parents summon their teenage daughter into the room; she plays for an audience of wide-eyed ragamuffins.
