The widest rim that you can make, and this is part of a group that looks at safety standards around internal rim width. 25 mils internal rim width for tires that are in the 32 mil range and slightly above,. Now that limits you to how wide you can make your rim. We don't want to really narrow rim because it just makes that rule of 105 even worse. The original rim profiles that you found years and years ago, they were essentially triangles.
