The artist's work has this double life as an archive of these different media moments and of people's relationship to technology as it changes. Maybe one of the reasons why it does that so successfully is because you are putting these pieces of technology out there once they've already reached mass adoption. In fact, even are like, know that their obsolescence is imminent or something. There's like something that's tender towards it.
