Aristotle's Principle of Virtue

Aristotle helps us to hone our understanding of virtue by narrowing it down and saying that virtues are a mean between extremes. So on the slide here, i have, for example, courage. Courage is the mean between rashness and cowardice. The virtuous person engages in and cultivates within himself his potential for temperance, generosity.
