The Evolution of Goose Bump Reactions
Charles darwin wrote about these reactions and goose bumps in his book, the expression of the emotions in man and animals. In humans, a drinelin is often released when we feel cold or afraid, but also if were under stress and feel strong emotions such as anger or excitement. The evolutionarye in connecting goose bumps to a survival advantage makes very solid sense. But why would this connect to abstract emotions or to aesthetics like music? So i was looking around for good explanations of this.
