What It Takes®
I Don't Want to Rewrite the Lyrics
Santeim got the gig as lyricist after coal porter and irving berlin turned it down. The first show where santeim finally got to work as composer was in 19 62, which some critics maintain is the greatest musical of all time. Santeim tells the story of a critical moment in his musical theatre education that came during the writing of westside story. He says directors like working with him because he always gives them a blue print from which they can ignore or use as a spring board.
