Wi-Fi Printer Vulnerability

It seems that little thought is often put into what happens to a device at the end of its life. I believe this problem is quite systemic because most manufacturers don't ever perceive that their devices could have more than one owner. We need more sort of end-of-life systems in devices that work properly and also more awareness that they need to be used and implemented. PC Plod on Discord says, my wife calls me average and I have a Ethernet,. so maybe I was a little hard. Lee, what's your thoughts on Wi-Fi printers and this particular vulnerability?
