The average baby boomer has about $80,000 to retire on. That's an impossibly low amount of money if you'd been putting money in the stock market for the last 40 years. The power of compounding would have made virtually any amount of money you put in there of any significance into a small fortune. And so people's basic financial understanding is so bad because we don't teach it. I think we really have to work on that. We got to get financial literacy.
