Is Twitter Going Away?
With mastodon, you are basically beholden to whoever is managing the server you're on. I don't think they're ever going to be a Twitter level type company. So we are just in the wild west right now. A couple of weeks ago there was a night where a lot of people thought that Twitter would just fall apart or it would be the last day. We knew there wasn't enough support staff. It's really hard to find people. And also there have been reports from several people, especially people working within social justice who are saying like, oh, their posts have been taken down because of the content of their posts.
