One other quick point that i just want to make on pentobarb coma is that this lasts a really, really long time. So when you mit someone to a barbitu coma, youre basically committing them to one to two weeks of mechanical ventilation. Is it ethically acceptable to put someone into a barbitua coma, take away the respiratory drive and anextivate them?
