The Evolution of the Flood Post Flood Boundary

Geologists are tempted to visualize the flood post flood boundary as this simple line in the rocks. And I don't think there's anything in the text itself that leads us inevitably to the conclusion that the rest of the world is dry simply because it's dry where Noah is, when he's got off the ark. So unless we have Noah's fossilized footprint, you know, where do we drive the golden spike and say that's when Noah left the ark? It's going to be really tough to define.
