How to Differentiate Stable Angina From Unstable Angina Early On

The 2019 ESC guidelines say that it is kind of, you can move between stable and unstable angina. So for example, if someone presents with a little bit of chest pain, they're walking four or five blocks, that might be new stable angina. But if you're having really new significant pain that's coming out of nowhere, you do need to call that unstable angINA. And the answer really is you got to look at the patient as a whole.
