The Importance of Healing From Trauma
I call it church sanctioned domestic violence because that's what it was to me. That's what I have discovered in healing. It's abusive and it's condoned by church leadership. Everyone's trauma has not happened to you. Trauma is how it's sorting your body. Someone who doesn't have it as bad may still feel as traumatized by what happened. We joked about this trauma Olympics where cults compare the respective traumas that they experience. This was a part of the documentary where I'm like, yeah, I'd be up here to have it worse than Mormons.
