I think a lot of that comes from exploiting something in a system early and getting compounding returns from it so if I sat and learned chess like how it was taught maybe 15 years ago for 10 years I'd probably worse at chess now with all the new technologies and tools. You know there's definitely luck involved in that there's mentorship there's a lot of these types of things but it I think that that is a very real phenomenon.
