What Got You Into Philosophy?

In high school, I had a reasonably good introduction to philosophy class. It got me familiar with a bunch of the names in Western philosophy and a very cursory kind of overview of their thinking. When I went to Princeton, I thought I was going to study philosophy. And so it's interesting to think about what I thought philosophy was going into university because I ended up studying literature. So that probably tells you something about how I wound up where I am today in terms of thinking about things like Taoism or Buddhism.
